When I started being serious about photography as an art form, I was under the belief that Black and White photography was simply the poor man's colour. How wrong I was!  Over the years I have come to appreciate that monochrome images can portray emotion and drama in a way that colour simply cannot, and it has become one of my favourite photographic genres.
